THE ORACLE

▍BLKSWN and THE ORACLE
BLKSWN is the project's token. THE ORACLE is a free, public, read-only tool on this site. You do not need to hold BLKSWN to use it.
Holding BLKSWN gives no access, voting rights, revenue share or other benefit. After launch, THE ORACLE will also watch BLKSWN itself, so anyone can check its holders, large transfers, liquidity, lock and vesting against the chain.
Loading globe
Each arrow is an event from the world watch below. Earthquakes and disasters sit at the coordinates USGS and GDACS publish. Wars, unrest and outages sit at the coordinates of the place the Wikipedia entry links to, such as a city; when only a country is linked, the arrow is at the country and marked approximate. Nothing is placed from the wording of a headline. Bigger arrows mean more severe events (see how severity is rated below).
- Reading world feeds
How severity is rated
Every event gets a level from 1 (minor) to 5 (extreme) by fixed rules, using only facts the source states. The highest rule that applies wins. It describes how serious an event is for the people affected. It is not a forecast and is not connected to any token.
- Starting level by kind of event: unrest, outbreaks, space weather and bank failures 2; grid failures, disasters, war and attacks 3; famine 4.
- Deaths stated by the source: 10 or more at least 3, 100 or more at least 4, 1,000 or more 5.
- Disaster alerts: GDACS orange 3, red 4. USGS earthquake impact alert yellow 3, orange 4, red 5. Magnitude 7 or more at least 3.
- Geomagnetic storms: G4 (K-index 8) 3, G5 (K-index 9) 4.
- A pandemic or a WHO international health emergency: 4.
- Bank failures: over $1 billion in assets 3, over $10 billion 4.
- Nuclear weapon use or a nuclear plant accident: 5.

Catastrophic Event Index
One transparent score for how much high-impact disruption the world is seeing right now, built from public data on natural disasters, space weather, disease outbreaks, armed conflict, financial stress and cyber attacks. Every driver shows its source and its rule. It is information, not a prediction and never a trading signal.
Experimental. This number measures how much disruption public data sources are reporting right now. It is not a forecast, not a probability of anything happening, and not financial information.

Reading
Reading public data sources.
- Reading drivers
How it works, and its limits
1. Six drivers
Each driver reads one public source and counts recent activity.
2. Each becomes 0 to 100
A fixed, published rule turns each reading into a score from 0 to 100 (rules below). There is no model and no tuning by hand.
3. Equal weights
The headline is the plain average of the drivers measured right now. Every driver counts the same. 0 to 24 is Calm, 25 to 49 Elevated, 50 to 74 High, 75 to 100 Severe.
4. Updates
Sources are re-read about every 15 minutes. This panel refreshes every 5 minutes.
5. Missing data
If a source fails, its last value is kept for up to 6 hours and marked Stale with its time. After that it is marked Unavailable and left out of the average, so the headline then covers fewer drivers. The count under the gauge always says how many.
The rules
- Natural disasters (GDACS): orange and red alerts in the last 7 days. 25 points per red, 10 per orange, capped at 100.
- Space weather (NOAA): highest planetary Kp index in the last 24 hours. Quiet conditions score 6 points per Kp; storm levels G1 to G5 score 40 to 100.
- Pandemic and bio (WHO): Disease Outbreak News reports in the last 30 days, 10 points each, capped at 100.
- Geopolitical conflict (GDELT): news coverage of armed conflict over 7 days compared with its own 90-day normal. Normal scores 15; double the normal scores 75.
- Economic stress (U.S. Treasury OFR Financial Stress Index): 0 is average stress and scores 20; 5.5 scores 75; 8 or more scores 100.
- Cyber (CISA): actively exploited vulnerabilities added to CISA's catalogue in the last 30 days, 2 points each, capped at 100.
Limits
- It counts reports and alerts, not harm. One huge disaster and three small ones can score alike.
- Conflict is measured by news coverage, which rises and falls with media attention.
- The economic and cyber drivers use U.S. government sources, so they lean toward the U.S.
- The rules and caps are judgement calls, published so anyone can question them.
Experimental information indicator built from public data. Not a prediction, financial index, trading signal or investment product.

The token contract is written but not deployed. It is the standard OpenZeppelin ERC-20 with gasless approvals (ERC-20 Permit) and nothing else added. As written, nobody, including us, could mint more, tax transfers, freeze wallets or change the rules.
These are properties of the code, checked by automated tests and static analysis on every change. They become facts you can verify on-chain only after deployment, when the address and source are published on the explorer. Until then, don't trust this page. Verify it at launch.
